- Scarecrows must be able to stand on their own or be securely anchored to the ground.
- Drop off is Thursday, Oct. 1 between 5 – 7 p.m. Pickup is Sunday at 6 p.m. outside the C & C tent
- Scarecrows not picked up by Monday morning will be discarded.
- Winners will be contacted the week of Oct. 4.
Whether your scarecrow is funny, spooky, whimsical, patriotic, harvest-themed, or completely one-of-a-kind, we want to see your creativity! Visitors to the Portland Fair will have the chance to vote for their favorite scarecrow, with cash prizes going to the top three entries.
Gather your straw, flannel, overalls, and imagination, then bring your best scarecrow to the fair!
